At the Digital Content Expo 2009, students from the Iwata-Yano Laboratory at the University of Tsukuba presented the Media Vehicle, which lets people travel freely in the real and virtual worlds.
The creator, Hiroo Iwata is a professor in the Graduate School of Systems and Information Engineering at the University of Tsukuba. His field of research is virtual reality technologies.
