Although it might take more than a decent week of fiddling around to make Jean-Michel Jarre jack off with unholy glee, Stephen Hobley’s laser harp prototype is a working one. Had been for some time, that is, checking out the release dates on his YouTube and all. Still, drop me a few lines if you could prepare a laser harp for our live shows. July’s the date, most probably. (link)

most vasárnap voltam a trafóban egy lézerhárfa bemutatón, amit az eltén fejlesztettek. érdekes, izgalmas, de bőven nem hoztak ki belőle annyit, amennyit lehetne. a trükk amúgy nem ott jön elő, h egyáltalán lézerhárfa (ami végülis csak egy lézersugarak megszakítását midijelként értelmező program), hanem ahogy több lézerhárfát kombinálnak. a trafós bemutatón pl egy hárfában táncolt egy kortárs táncos, aki a “hangjegyeket” játszotta, másik kettőn pedig két arc különböző tulajdonságait váltogatta a fordítóprogramnak (pl. hangszín, hangjegytávolság, meg ennél bonyolultabb függvények akár).
csekkold majd március 1-én a night of the unexpected-et a trafóban, ott már nem csak kísérleti bemutatóként, hanem zenész kezében is lesz lézerhárfa. must see!
