Körbedícsérte a New York Times a Nyóckert, az amerikai bemutató a híresztelések szerint elég jól sült el, ilyenkor azért megdobban valami, még ha a forgatókönyvírókat nem is említik sehol. (És ilyenkor fáj, hogy kimaradtak a kínai vendéglőre írt jelenetek, amiket külföldön jóval többen értékeltek volna.) Több info erről később, Áron új filmje, az Egill meg halad biztosan előre.
On top of its other considerable achievements, this is a dazzlingly assured piece of filmmaking. Merging seemingly hand-drawn, two-dimensional characters and deep-focus, intricately shadowed, simulated 3-D backdrops, “The District!” is like a dirty, thrilling pop-up book you can step into.

The television skies of Chiba City branded his brains in 1992. He hasn't recovered fully since. Re-wired his brain with a few years of FastTracker, hosted radio shows on the first .hu netradio for 4 years, went on to broadcast radio for another two. Worked on the absurd radio series Kónuszék, that actually led him to become a script writer for the multiple-award winning animation Nyócker.
