It’s been some time since I last checked up on the New Zealand electro-industrial act Mercy Cage and if you haven’t heard them, allow yourself the luxury of a few minutes to check on their MySpace for Hymn 01 (with video above), Prozac, God and the Atomic Bomb and finally, Needlemarks (& Scars), three amazing tracks in the long list of zonerun tracks. If you need some downloads, their Hymn EP is ready available and you could also access Wire, a collection of their older material, MySpace will tell you how to. Rock!
UPDATE: Read the interview I did with The Mercy Cage in The Dose magazine!

The television skies of Chiba City branded his brains in 1992. He hasn't recovered fully since. Re-wired his brain with a few years of FastTracker, hosted radio shows on the first .hu netradio for 4 years, went on to broadcast radio for another two. Worked on the absurd radio series Kónuszék, that actually led him to become a script writer for the multiple-award winning, New York Times-acclaimed animation Nyócker.
